Tikechi is entertainment: a handful of invented characters who tease what you say. This page says exactly what is kept and what is not.

What we keep

• Your Google account: the unique Google identifier, your email address, and the name you choose. Your Google password never reaches us — Google handles sign-in.
• Your rooms: which rooms you made, with which character, and who is in them.
• Counts: how many messages a day, so the limits can work.
• A technical ledger: that a request went to the model, for which room and when — without a word of what it said.

What we do not keep

• Your chat history. What you see on the page lives in your browser's localStorage. We hold no copy, and "Clear this chat" removes it.
• A password. We never create one and never store one.

The 24-hour window

So the character knows what you are talking about, a room's most recent messages stay on the server for 24 hours and then delete themselves, capped at the last hundred. That is the only place the words are held by us, and only briefly.

What leaves

To write each reply, that window is sent to OpenAI. Before it goes, names and sensitive topics are substituted and obscenity is masked. Nothing else goes anywhere else: no advertising, no behavioural analytics, no sale of anything to anyone.

Cookies

One cookie, only so we know you are the person who signed in. It does not track you and it does not travel to other sites.

Deleting

• A conversation: the "Clear this chat" button on the page.
• Your account: email the address below and the account and its rooms go.

Terms of use

• This is entertainment. The characters are invented and what they say is a joke, not professional advice — not medical, not legal, not financial. Do not act on it.
• Replies are written by a language model and may be wrong, irrelevant or repetitive.
• The service is provided as is, with no warranty, and may stop at any time.
• Do not send anything abusive or unlawful. Accounts that do are closed.
• Not for anyone under 13.
